The Las Madrinas Auxiliary
Of
Assistance League ® of Hemacinto

To support Assistance League of Hemacinto, The auxiliary supports the chapter with Operation School Bell , a philanthropic project of the chapter that clothes deserving students in kindergarten through 5 th grade in the Hemet and San Jacinto school districts.

The auxiliary itself has adopted the Esperanza Teen Mother Program as its philanthropic project. Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving teens to assist in furthering their education with the intent that these deserving young women will have the opportunity to become responsible parents and citizens. In addition, we supply the school with special items needed to support their program.

HISTORY:
The Las Madrinas Auxiliary was founded in 1994 and certified in 1995 through the special efforts of Dorothy McGargill, our first chairperson.

MEMBERSHIP:
Members of the auxiliary are dedicated volunteers from the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley who commit to one evening meeting a month (excluding July and August). We currently have approximately twenty-five (25) members. If you would like to learn more about Las Madrinas Auxiliary, please call Charlotte Jones, President, at (951)658-6279.
