Assistance League® was formed in 1935 in Southern California . Today there are 116 chapters and guilds from 25 states and together these chapters represent one of the best non-profit volunteer organizations dedicated to serving their communities.

Today Assistance League has over 24,000 members nationally. Each chapter takes on projects that best meet the needs of their community. Members in Assistance League of Hemacinto see an increasing number of children and families in need, many in dire need.

Assistance League of Hemacinto provides assistance to deserving children and their families for 22 grade schools in the San Jacinto and Hemet school districts. Our chapter was founded in 1976 by a small group of dedicated women committed to helping needy children in the community. In those early days in 1976 we clothed 33 children. Last year we clothed nearly 900. To date we have provided new clothes to over 15,000 students. The needs in our community continue to grow so our membership must prepare for the challenges ahead.
